August 3, 2012: More fast swimming highlight’s today's edition of Race Day, with the United States having a banner day and a relative unknown keeping a king from winning gold. Host Jeff Commings and Swimming World’s John Lohn analyze Franklin’s world record in the 200 back, as well as what Phelps’ win in the 100 fly does to his legendary status. We also look at the gutsy swim by Katie Ledecky in the 800 free and Florent Manaudou’s surprise victory in the 50 free. There’s also a preview of tomorrow’s 1500 free and the medley relays.
