Gregg Troy, the coach of Olympic medalists Ryan Lochte and Caroline Burckle, calls The Morning Swim Show to talk about the success of his athletes and his impressions of the Olympic swimming meet.

Troy talks about Lochte’s first individual Olympic gold medal in the 200 backstroke and how Lochte was able to pull through a stomach virus at the start of the meet to win two gold medals. Troy said Burckle was very nervous going into the final of the women’s 800 free relay, but was able to put that aside to put together a fast leg for the Americans.
