ABC LADDER HIGH KNEES

Purpose: The ABC ladder is an agility, balance and coordination tool that will help improve the overall foundation of athletic performance. Due to early specialization and inadequate play or physical education classes, swim coaches are gaining responsibility for developing motor skills. The ABC ladder high knee drills is a fun exercise, which provides a different stimuli than many swimming activities, helping build motor skills. Directions: Place the ladder on the floor; you can also make a ladder out of tape. Have the athlete on one side with their body in line with the ladder. Keeping your head and chest up, eyes focused forward. Driving your knees up high and placing both feet inside of the box as quick as possible.
