Some of the most exciting swimming news in the U.S. this time of year revolves around recruiting. Everyone wants to know who’s signing where and which team is putting together the best class? I wanted to take it a step further and ask why? What happens within the recruiting process that makes up the minds of these 17 and 18 year old kids in the biggest decision of their young lives? To answer that questions, we’ve brought in the perfect guest. He won 12 NCAA titles as the Head Coach of Auburn, and he now works at SwimMAC where some of his responsibilities involve advising seniors in high school about the recruiting process.
