Jenna Randall, Olivia Federici (Great Britain Synchro Swimming)
The Team GB synchronised swimming duo, who placed 14th in the duet in Beijing, believe they are capable of doing far better in home water. They are also part of the first ever British team to enter the Games.
With training of around 42 hours a week at their Aldershot base, Randall and Federici and will be nothing if not prepared.
"With the Games in London this year it has been fantastic for our sport to get more media coverage and for more people to know what it is about, said 23-year-old Randall.
"We are hoping after the Olympics more people will want to join in and take part.
"We are very well prepared. We have been training 42-plus hours a week so nothing can go wrong."
Plymouth-born Federici, 22, added: "For our team event we are hoping for top six and for our duet pushing for the top eight."
