Minnesota freshman Max McHugh talked about his transition thus far to college and how he has adapted to swimming at the collegiate level.
McHugh also talked about what it meant for him to represent the Big Ten at the ACC-B1G Challenge and if he would swim in the meet again.
McHugh split a 51.16 on the Big Ten’s B medley relay on the first night of the meet and won the 200 breast (1:54.20). He also swam on the winning 200 medley relay on Sunday with a 23.05 breaststroke split. He was second in the 100 breast with a 52.19 behind Indiana’s Ian Finnerty.
