USA Swimming Accepting Applications for Scholastic All-America Recognition
USA Swimming is accepting applications from athletes for its Scholastic All-America program, which recognizes pool swimmers, open-water swimmers and swimmers with disabilities. From an academic standpoint, candidates must have completed ninth, 10th, 11th or 12 grade, complete an application and have a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher.
Athletically, candidates must have equaled or bettered the 2024 Winter Junior Nationals qualifying time in at least one event, accomplishing that feat between Sept. 1, 2024 and Aug. 31, 2025 while registered as a USA Swimming member. Athletes with disabilities must have recorded a time equal to or faster than the 2024-2025 Para Scholastic All-American standards. Open-water swimmers must have equaled or bettered 2024 Winter Junior Nationals qualifying time in the 800 freestyle, 1000 free, 1500 free or 1650 free and competed at Open Water Nationals.
When applying, candidates must upload a complete transcript that reflects their achievement in the classroom, while qualifying times must be recorded in the SWIMS database. Further information is available by clicking on the link below, where the applications are also located.
The deadline to apply for Scholastic All-America recognition is Sept.30, 2025. No late applications will be accepted.
