The Texas Longhorns are well on their way to sweeping the Big 12 Championship titles.
It will be the men’s 20th Big 12 title, while the women will claim their 14th overall.
Women’s 200 back
Texas’ Tasija Karosas, already the school record holder in the event with a 1:50.49 from the Texas Invite, popped the second-fastest 200 back in UT history with a 1:51.75 during prelims. That swim broke Dominique Bouchard’s 2011 meet record of 1:52.02.
Texas’ Quinn Carrozza qualified second in 1:54.31 with Iowa State’s Marissa Engel clocking a third-seeded 1:57.87.

Texas’ Ryan Harty topped qualifying in a time of 1:42.95. That swim is still well back of the NCAA A cut of 1:40.33, and Harty will need to drop some serious time tonight. Texas’ Jonathan Roberts (1:43.92) and John Shebat (1:44.58) qualified second and third out of prelims.

Texas’ Rebecca Millard just missed the meet record with a 47.96 in qualifying. That swim came up a bit shy of Julia Wilkinson’s 47.74 from 2010, but now stands at ninth all time in UT history.
Texas’ Brooke Hansen qualified second in 49.92 with teammates Mimi Schneider (50.11) and Sam Sutton (50.34) placing third and fourth.
