In 1992 (the last time Texas broke 4:40), Texas had a trio of sub-4:40s with Erika Hansen (4:37.73), Tobie Smith (4:39.13) and Whitney Hedgepeth (4:39.42).
Texas’ Quinn Carrozza took second tonight in 4:42.28 with Kansas’ Chelsie Miller turned in a third-place time of 4:43.24.
