Swimming World to Live Stream Bluefish Fall Classic This Weekend
This weekend, Swimming World will return to the campus of Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, for Bluefish Swim Club’s annual fall invitational, now called the Swimming World Trials/Finals Fall Classic.
The meet will feature several of the standouts of New England’s top swimmers, including Bluefish’s own Max Miranda – an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 200 fly – and Lilly Vivado along with 14-year old Madeline King from Cape Cod and Yungseo Jung from Phoenix Swimming in Massachusetts.
Unique for fall meets, the Swimming World Fall Classic will have two full days of prelims/finals action. The meet will feature two heats (seven swimmers each) of finals for both 13-14 swimmers and senior swimmers in each event. 12&under swimmers will compete in timed finals during the afternoon session.
Swimming World will provide live coverage of the afternoon and finals sessions on both Saturday and Sunday for the third straight year. Afternoon timed finals will begin at 2:45 eastern time on both days, and finals sessions get underway at 6:15. Note that Daylight Savings Time – observed in Rhode Island – ends at 2am on Sunday morning, so that will affect session start times on Sunday.
David Rieder will provide commentary on the live stream for the second straight year, while Chris Rattray will produce the live stream from Rhode Island. Remember to tune into SwimmingWorld.com each day for the live streams, and all races that are streamed will also be available on demand following the day’s action.
