Japanese teenager Rikako Ikee lowered her own World Junior Record in the women’s 50 fly during the first day of action at the Japanese Swimming Championships. She posted a time of 25.51 to lower her own mark of 25.71 set earlier this year.
That time also ranks second in the early world rankings as only Sarah Sjostrom (24.96) has been quicker.
The girl in the photo is not Rikako Ikee.
