One Last Lap for the FINIS Smart Goggle

At FINIS, innovation is in our DNA. From the monofin to the first center-mount snorkel, we’ve spent decades creating tools that make swimmers better. We don’t chase trends, we build game-changers.

The Smart Goggle was one of those efforts.

Designed to bring real-time data into the water, the Smart Goggle helped swimmers see their splits, track laps and strokes, and stay more engaged in their training, all without ever leaving the pool. For those who used it, it became more than just a piece of gear. It was motivation you could wear. It made the black line feel a little more alive.

As the swim tech category continues to evolve and new wearables enter the market, we’ve made the decision to sunset the Smart Goggle at the end of 2025. This decision wasn’t made lightly but reflects our desire to stay focused on delivering breakthrough products where we can lead with impact.

The app will remain fully functional for all existing users and for anyone who registers their Smart Goggles within the app before January 31, 2026.

We know swim gear is personal. Not every swimmer wants tech in their goggles but for those who did, the Smart Goggle delivered powerful insights that transformed how they trained. And we’re proud to have brought that experience to the swim community.

To celebrate everything it made possible, we’re offering 60% off Smart Goggle Kits while supplies last. Use code SG60 at checkout.

If you’ve ever been curious, now’s the time to try it. And whatever you put in your gear bag next we’ll be here, building what’s next.

Will the firmware for the goggles and the app continue to be supported by Ciye? If not, will the code be open sourced so the community can continue maintaining it? Thanks.
