Melanie Henique Sets 50 Fly French Record at 2015 French Short Course Championships
Melanie Henique lowered her own French record in the women’s 50-meter fly at the 2015 French Short Course Championships.
Henique clocked a time of 25.20 to break her 2014 mark of 25.33. Lara Jackson finished second for the U.S. in 26.00 with Armony Dumur earning third in 26.41.
Jeremy Stravius claimed his third title of the meet with a 4:07.87 in the men’s 400-meter IM. Quentin Coton took second in 4:08.51 with Ganesh Pedurand placing third in 4:10.61.
Camille Lacourt snared the men’s 50-meter back crow in 23.46 with Ben Stasiulis earning second in 23.68. Eddie Moueddene picked up third in 24.39.
Mehdy Metella won the men’s 100-meter free in 46.89 with Yannick Agnel taking second in 47.40. Moueddene captured third in 47.82.
Sharon van Rouwendaal claimed the 800-meter free title in 8:16.53, while Coralie Balmy took second in 8:23.76. Ophelie-Cyrielle Etienne took third in 8:24.86.
Joris Bouchaut hit the wall in 7:39.38 to win the men’s 800-meter free. Damien Joly took second in 7:42.45 with Jeremy Stravius snaring third in 7:45.73.
Lara Grangeon topped the women’s 200-meter breast in 2:23.12 with Camille Dauba taking second in 2:24.92. Adeline Martin placed third in 2:24.93.
Laurin Del’Homme won the women’s 100-meter IM in 1:02.15. Etienne took another podium spot with a second-place 1:02.47, while Jackson also podiumed again with a third-place 1:02.61.
