Jeremy Stravius Blasts Meet Record in 200 Fly at 2015 French Short Course Nationals
Jeremy Stravius notched a meet record in the men’s 200-meter fly with his fourth gold of the meet at the 2015 French Short Course Nationals.
Stravius posted a time of 1:51.33 for the win, which would have ranked him fifth in the world last year.
Jordan Coelho took second in 1:53.39 with Thomas Vilaceca earning third in 1:54.21.
Coralie Balmy pocketed the women’s 400-meter free title in 3:59.57, which would have ranked fifth in the world last year. Femke Heemskerk took second in 4:01.20 with Ophelie-Cyrielle Etienne taking third in 4:05.16.
Mathilde Cini claimed the women’s 50-meter back in 27.13. Camille Gheorghiu hit the wall second in 27.79 with Lara Jackson of USA placing third in 27.86.
Florent Manaudou charged his way to a 26.80 to win the men’s 50-meter breast. Eddie Moueddene took second in 26.95 with Giacomo Perez Dortona earning third in 27.05.
Damien Joly topped the men’s 1500 free in 14:32.75, while Joris Bouchaut took second in 14:35.08. Axel Reymond wound up third in 14:55.24.
Adeline Martin earned the women’s 100-meter breast title in 1:07.87 with Camille Dauba a close second in 1:07.94. Adeline Williams placed third in 1:08.09.
Clement Mignon pocketed the men’s 100-meter IM title in 52.95. Moueddene earned his second podium of the night with a second-place 53.14. Yannick Agnel took third in 54.14.
Marie Wattel won the women’s 100-meter fly in 58.09, while Justine Bruno took second in 58.96. Lara Grangeon picked up third in 58.98.
Ben Stasiulis claimed the men’s 100-meter back in 50.83 with Camille Lacourt a close second in 50.89. Thomas Avetand touched third in 52.67.
