Jacques Rathle Breaks 200 IM State Record at Louisiana DIII State Championships

The 2019 Louisiana Division III Swimming State Championships took place on Nov. 21 at the SPAR Aquatic Center in Sulphur, La. The DIII record book was re-written a total of 10 times during the meet.

The meet was highlighted by E.D. White Catholic High junior Jacques Rathle’s record-setting performance in the 200 IM. His final time of 1:49.91 shattered his own DIII record of 1:52.37 he set at this meet last year and eclipsed the overall state mark of 1:50.78 set by Thomas Vanderbrook back in 2015.
