COLLEGE PARK – This weekend’s Speedo Tom Dolan Invitational marked Destin Lasco’s first meet in the 13-14 age group, and in this video interview, he talks about the lessons he’s learned about his shortcomings against older competition.
Lasco was a star in the 11-12 age group, breaking several national age group records in the backstroke events. He nearly won a few events at the Tom Dolan Invite, and talks about needing to work on his turns but still excited about swimming fast.
