Chad le Clos Cruises To 6th-Best 100 Fly in World 51.82; Clinches Olympic Spot

Chad le Clos rocketed to victory in the men’s 100-meter fly at the 2016 South African Nationals.
Le Clos clocked a time of 51.82, moving him from eighth in the world to sixth overall.
That time easily cleared the FINA A cut time of 52.36 to secure le Clos a 100 fly swim at the 2016 Rio Olympics as he looks to be the top butterflier in the world by the time Rio comes around.
Dylan Bosch placed second in 53.00, missing the A cut, while Ryan Coetzee finished third overall in 53.21.
