Ariarne Titmus Breaks 4:00 in 400 Free on Night Five of Australian Swimming Championships
Australian rising superstar Ariarne Titmus tied her best time on Thursday night at the Australian Swimming Championships in Adelaide with the exact same time she swam in winning silver at Pan Pacs last year. Titmus won her third event of the meet after winning the 800 and 200 free.
Laura Taylor won the only other Olympic event on Thursday night with her win in the 200 butterfly. William Yang upset Mitch Larkin in the 50 back while Louis Townsend won the 50 breast ahead of Jake Packard. Jess Hansen also won the 50 breast gold on Thursday.
The crowd were on their feet for the Hancock Prospecting Legend’s Relay, which saw many famous faces take to the pool.
