American Swimming Coaches Association Announces 2007-08 Board of Directors Roster

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, September 11. THE American Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) has announced its complete Board of Directors roster for the 2007-08 year.

Bill Rose of the Mission Viejo Nadadores has been named as the new president, replacing Ohio State's Bill Wadley in the position. Meanwhile, Mary Anne Gerzanick-Liebowitz, formerly of Hillsdale College in Mich., and Richard Shoulberg of Germantown Academy will serve as the new vice presidents. The rest of the Executive Committee is comprised of George Block of Alamo Area Aquatics and Eddie Reese of Longhorn Aquatics.

Five spots were up for election this year, with Block, Reese and Mecklenburg Aquatics' David Marsh earning re-election. Jennifer Gibson of Brophy East Swim Team and Tim Welsh of Notre Dame picked up the remaining two spots for three-year terms, which were previously occupied by Jack Bauerle of Georgia and Dave Salo of Southern California.
