IRSC’s Leah Sims (1:56.03), Madisyn Lyons (1:56.61), Grace Lynch (1:58.10) and Olivia Jacobi (1:55.07) raced to a 7:45.81 to win the NJCAA title. That time wasn’t even close to the record though. IRSC’s 2009 mark of 7:21.64 will likely stand for quite awhile.
Monroe’s Tamara Miler, Hannah Fedeli, Kristin Brown and Megan Mack placed second in 8:10.69 with South Georgia State’s Caitlyn Meece, Bekah Morris, Courtney Britt and Nikki Daley finishing third in 8:16.80.
